Are “cubes” efficient resources in the scenographic development of the play as actor prompters?

Prompters

On the stage of the play, cubes with advanced technological features are placed on part of the stage of a science fiction play. On their sides the dialogue of the actors is projected. The design is elegant, technological and striking, with pop colours, with a seventies feel, these cubes draw the attention of the spectator, they carry messages and the 5 actors dressed in futuristic clothes, read them from the side in the play. The actors walk around the stage in a synchronised manner, each one reading a script from each tube. The set is simple but futuristic, with elements such as light panels, geometric structures and a backdrop that evokes a science fiction atmosphere, and a 30cm layer of stage smoke runs along the floor at a height of about 30 cm. The light is rehearsal, soft and diffuse, allowing the details of the costumes and the set to be highlighted without being too intense, with spotlights, snorkels and govos giving an abstract spatial simulation, there is also an LED screen, with images of Ankora, the citadel's computer. Abstract paintings can be placed in the background with artists working on the canvas. GENERAL SCENIC PLAN

Technological innovation

To reflect the cyber citadel in an innovative way in the set design, we can implement the following techniques and elements:

1-Holographic projections

Using three-dimensional holographic projections to create dynamic architectural structures and elements of the citadel. This would allow for rapid and fluid changes in the set, reflecting the technologically advanced nature of the city[1].

2-Interactive set design

Programmable LED panels:** Incorporating large LED panels into the set that can change in real time, showing different aspects of the cyber citadel, such as its control systems or data flows[1].

3-Reactive surfaces:

Designing set elements that react to the movement of the actors, changing color or shape to reflect the interaction between the characters and their technological environment. ( PROMPT CUBES)

4- Augmented Reality

Provide audiences with augmented reality devices that allow them to view additional layers of the citadel superimposed on the physical set. This could include architectural details, virtual control interfaces, or even holographic characters[1].

5- Dynamic Lighting

Smart Lighting Systems:** Use programmable LED lights and laser projectors to create complex lighting effects that simulate the citadel’s power and data systems.

Fiber Optics:** Integrate optical fibers into the set design to create lighting effects that represent the flows of information and energy in the cyber city.

6- Mobile and Transformable Elements

Design scenographic elements that can be mechanically transformed, such as sliding walls, elevating platforms, or shape-shifting structures, reflecting the adaptable and technologically advanced nature of the citadel[1].

7- Immersive Sound Effects

Implement a surround sound system that creates a three-dimensional auditory atmosphere, with sound effects representing the constant hum of the citadel’s technology, communications and systems.

8- Technological Costumes

Design costumes with integrated technological elements, such as LEDs, flexible screens or color-shifting materials, to reflect the fusion between the organic and the cybernetic in the citadel.

9- Drones and Robots on Stage

Incorporate drones and small robots as part of the moving scenery, representing the automated systems and constant presence of artificial intelligence in the citadel.

These scenographic innovations would not only create a visually impressive spectacle, but will also reinforce the futuristic and technologically advanced atmosphere of the cybernetic citadel, immersing the audience in the world of “Arcadians Colony: The Opera”.
